Take a look at what’s new for Spring/Summer 2022.
Villa Nova has embarked on a creative collaboration with ceramicist Kyra Cane to produce an inspiring collection of wallcoverings and textiles. Larger than life swirling patterns and energetic pastel sketches take influence from the movements of brush marks when sitting at the potter’s wheel to landscapes of grassy horizons and tree-lined avenues.
Wellbeck Winter is a wide width, semi-sheer print on lightweight fabric which has a fluid drape. This beautiful fabric maintains the artist’s pastel strokes that have been layered and blended to depict woodland and fields.
Field Wallcovering (shown above in Sienna) features expressive pastel strokes, capturing the sway and ripple of grasses.
Zoffany introduced Avalonis this season, a wide width wallpaper that has been created by Royal College of Art graduate Ruth Blanke. This wallpaper will feature in Zoffany’s SS22 collection.
Avalonis wallpaper has been inspired by written and illustrative history and features a mythical landscape of small interlinking islands. Water is central to the mural’s theme and represents the flow of eternal life.
This season Morris & Co. introduces Simply Morris. A carefully chosen edit of signature fabrics and wallpapers that have been expertly recoloured in a fresh garden palette. Designers Guild new wallpaper and fabric collection, Porcelaine de Chine, has been inspired by 18th Century fine porcelain.
The colour palette of the new wallpapers uses both vibrant shades and softer chalky tones. The floral designs range in scale, so traditional surface printing and digital printing have been used to create these striking designs.
Jardin Botanique Birch wallpaper is a dramatic panel featuring beautiful, painterly roses, camellias and foliage. The ground of the wallpaper has a soft chalky appearance to give the appearance of delicate porcelain. Coordinated printed fabrics are available.
Designers Guild new fabric collection features glamorous digitally printed velvets, cottons and linens, as well as traditional screen-printed designs.
Porcelaine De Chine Velours in Indigo is an exquisite digitally printed cotton rich velvet featuring trailing foliage and birds. This floral velvet is suitable for upholstery, curtains and other interior applications.
